Over 400 guests watched as the judging panel named Argus Car Hire ‘Best Car Hire Website 2012’ at the sixth annual Travolution Awards at the Troxy in London. In a highly competitive category that included affordablecarhire.com, avis.co.uk and carrentals.co.uk, Argus Car Hire was deemed the winner based on its originality, design and features, level of innovation, success within the market and overall user experience.

Argus Car Hire beat off tough competition from major multinationals by scooping the 2012 Grand Prix accolade at the 2012 Nokia Digital Media Awards in Dublin. This award is presented to the most highly acclaimed project of the year. Argus Car Hire’s entry “Working Local, Thinking Global” was given full marks by judges across all 25 categories. This was an outstanding achievement and indeed, an important win for a company that has fully embraced digital media in their marketing strategy. Argus Car Hire also picked up the award for Best Search Marketing Campaign, for their “Working Local, Thinking Global” campaign.
